The Department of Human Development and Consumer Sciences offers a Trainer Certificate Program.
Participants in the program will learn:
- Bottom-line information on concepts, models, and trends in workplace learning;
- Processes to design training to meet the needs of both the learner and the organization;
- Strategies to improve presentation and facilitation skills;
- Evaluation tools to measure the results of training.
The Trainer certificate is issued by the University of Houston's College of Technology with 4.8 CEUs offered through Continuing Education for the entire program, or 1.2 CEUs for each program module. The credits may be applied toward the Master of Science in Human Resource and Development, pending admission to the program.
