Deleting an Existing Class, Meeting or Event

You can delete or request a deletion for a given entry from either the daily, weekly or monthly view of the calendar. If you have appropriate privileges, you can delete an entry immediately for that room. If you do not have appropriate privileges for that room, then you can request the room administrator to delete the entry for you.

To delete an existing entry from the daily view, weekly view or monthly view, first click in the calendar on the entry that you wish to delete. This will bring up a screen that shows you the details for the given entry. From here, you can either delete the series if this is part of a series of entries, or you can delete the individual entry. To delete the series of entries, click on the Delete Series link at the bottom of the page. To delete this single entry, click on the Delete Entry link. Either of these choices will bring up a dialog box that asks you to verify the deletion. Click OK if you wish to continue the deletion or Cancel if you wish to cancel the deletion.

If you click OK and have privileges to immediately delete an entry for this room, then the entry will be deleted. If you do not have privileges for this room, then your request will be emailed to the appropriate room administrator who can then make the deletion of the entry if they agree to it.
