Jason Siko[jpsiko -at- mail -dot- uh -dot- edu]--Jason will be finishing the program in Summer 2007. He is originally from Michigan, where he taught high school science for several years. His interests include the future of education, distance learning, and biotechnology. His hobbies include running and cooking. Jason plans on entering a Ph.D. program in 2008.

Phillip Carpenter finished the program in Summer 2007. He is a program manager for the U. S. Department of Energy at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee. Phillip was the first student to enroll in the distance learning Futures Studies program from outside the state of Texas. His interests are in alternative energy technologies, future propulsion technologies, and sustainable technology solutions. Phillip is continuing his academic studies at the doctoral level in Business Administration at Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona.
