Biography
Jami Kovach is the director and anchor instructor for the UH-Six Sigma Certification Program and is an Assistant Professor in the Organizational Leadership and Supervision Program at the University of Houston. She received her B.S. in Textile Engineering from North Carolina State University and an M.S. in Textile Technology from the Institute of Textile Technology. She also received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. Her industrial experience includes several years as a product and process improvement engineer in the U.S. textile industry, and her research interests include robust design, D-optimal design, and quality improvement and management methods. In addition, she is certified in Six Sigma Black Belt training and instructs industrial clients on the use of Six Sigma and other quality improvement initiatives within their organizations.
