Master of Technology in Engineering Technology - Network Communications

Overview

The Master of Technology in Engineering Technology-Network Communications may be completed under the thesis option or project option. This program builds upon TAC-ABET-accredited baccalaureate degree programs in the fields of computer, electronic or electrical engineering technology, and related fields. The program provides an advanced knowledge of communication between and within computer networks, including data processing in the network environment, network operations software and operating systems, and communication systems. The program will emphasize the following topics: network security, network management, and project management. Graduates are prepared to be advanced level technologists in computer applications in industry and technology instructors for educational institutions offering baccalaureate and associate degree programs.

Entrance Requirements

To be admitted unconditionally to the MT program, a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 semester hours of college coursework is required. Only complete application packets will be considered for admission to the graduate program. Applicants to the MT program are accepted for the fall and spring semesters.
