Dean's Medal of Academic Excellence

Dean William Fitzgibbon and Medal Winner Laura Ann NovakDean William Fitzgibbon announced the establishment of the Dean's Medal of Academic Excellence during the College of Technology's Spring 2009 graduation ceremony, held on May 15 at the Hofheinz Pavilion. The Dean's Medal is accompanied by a $1000 award and will be presented each semester to the highest ranking student graduating with a gpa of 3.75 or above.

The first recipient of the award is Laura Ann Novak who graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Consumer Sciences and Merchandising from the Department of Human Development and Consumer Sciences.

The faculty and staff of the College of Technology extend their congratulations to Laura and best wishes for her future endeavors.
