UH Directory
The University of Houston maintains a directory of all of the registered students, staff and faculty.
This directory is available to the public and can be searched using the individual's
first and/or last name (or part of the first or last name). The full name, email and affiliation
(student, faculty, staff) is displayed for any individual registered with UH, as well as possible optional information for
phone, fax, pager, mobile phone and web site URL. There are some further additional optional fields, depending upon
the type of affiliation. For example for a student the major is displayed.
You can easily update your personal profile information at your convenience
using a web interface.
UH Email
Your email address should have been assigned upon registration as a student, faculty or staff member
of the university. You can test your email to see if it is working. If you do not know
your email address, you can search the directory using your name.
Within your personal profile for the directory listing, an
alias for your email address is also stored and can be changed as needed.
This will allow you to forward your email to the mail server that is most appropriate for your needs.
If you have found that you have an email address assigned and yet you do not receive your email as
expected, then the problem is probably that your email alias is set incorrectly. To fix that
you would need to log in and update the UH directory.
