Our Mission Statement

The mission of Delta Epsilon Chi, a college division of DECA, is to serve its diverse international membership as a professional organization, providing leadership and career-oriented opportunities to develop and enhance tomorrow's leaders.

What is Delta Epsilon Chi?

DECA is an international organization for college students preparing for a variety of careers. Delta Epsilon Chi programs engage students from a variety of educational disciplines, while maintaining a strong focus on business-related areas such as marketing, management and entrepreneurship. DECA nurtures competent, entrepreneurial, self-reliant, cooperative leadership in a variety of professional areas.

  • • Helps students make informed career choices by providing opportunities to explore fields as diverse as e-business/e-commerce, advertising, wholesaling, fashion/apparel, design, food/food service, sales/sales management, retail management, human resource management, financial services, advertising/promotion, sports and entertainment, hospitality/travel/tourism, culinary arts, international marketing, business-to-business marketing and other management and marketing-oriented careers.
  • • Encourages business activity that demonstrates civic and social responsibility including programs dealing with business ethics.
  • • Recognizes the importance of career education and promotes a willingness to use the training facilities provided by corporations to continually improve skills and knowledge in college and throughout life.
  • • Increases understanding of and appreciation for the system of free enterprise.

How does DECA work?

We have meetings every other week, speakers twice a month and a mixer once a month. DECA also works on a points system so when you graduate you are eligible to receive a tassel.

Donations Are Appreciated!

We are asking for contributions, in order to send our students to leadership conventions to help improve skills and knowledge in a variety of professional areas.
