The College of Technology nurtures a number of centers that offer broad opportunites to faculty, staff, students and the community at large to engage in basic, applied & interdisciplinary research, workforce development efforts, and outreach activities for the betterment of the greater Houston area, the state and the nation.

The mission of the Texas Manufacturing and Assistance Center (TMAC) is to help grow the Gulf Coast economy by assisting small and medium sized manufacturers build successful businesses.
