Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday. Morning and afternoon appointments are available. Please call 713-743-4100 to schedule an appointment.

Advisors are also available for walk-in advising according to the following schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:30 – 11:00 am
Monday 1:30–4:00 pm
Wednesday 5:00–7:00 pm
Thursday and Friday 1:30-4:00 pm

Walk-in advising hours are subject to change. If you are planning a special trip to campus for walk-in advising please call the Academic Services Center at 713-743-4100 to confirm the availability of an advisor.

Appointment or walk-in?

An appointment should be scheduled to file a degree plan, to discuss long term academic planning and to confirm remaining degree requirements for graduation (graduation check). Prospective students who want to determine how their classes will apply to a College of Technology major should also schedule an appointment.

Walk-in advising is appropriate for questions concerning a student’s current schedule, assistance with general paperwork (petitions, VA & financial aid forms) and brief questions that do not require a thorough review and update of the student’s degree plan.
